Offensive Brilliance

Brock Purdy took center stage by getting rid of doubts about his arm strength with connections with Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk on several deep passes. Despite some clock management at the end of the first half, it is clear that Coach Kyle Shanahan places significant trust in Purdy.

Purdy faced an early interception but demonstrated resilience, leading the team to a turnaround touchdown scoring drive and scoring 28 points in the game. The connection among skill position players, including Deebo Samuel, complemented by Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle, contributed to the offensive success. Christian McCaffrey's explosive ground plays added another area to the team's overall performance, while the offensive line, despite changes, consistently provided Purdy with the time needed to execute deep plays.

The 49ers averaged almost 10 yards per play in this game which is the largets since the 2000 Rams, showing how explosive this offense can be,

Defensive Standout

The cornerback duo of Ambry Thomas and Deommodore Lenoir stepped up in the absence of Charvarius Ward, with Ji’Ayir Brown delivering a standout performance, recording an interception and six tackles. Despite an initial struggle to pressure the quarterback, the 49ers' defensive line eventually settled down, sacking Drew Lock four times and delivering an effective performance, even with notable absences.

Seeding:

The Cowboys beat the Eagles with a score of 33-13, giving the 49ers the number one seed in the NFC. With 4 games remaining against sub .500 teams and the Ravens on Christmas, the 49ers look headed for a first round bye and hosting all playoff games at Levis Stadium.
