(Offensive Line celebrates after a rushing touchdown by wide receiver Deebo Samuel)

The San Francisco 49ers won a contested game against the Los Angeles Rams today after a slow start in the first half. They trailed late in the second quarter 17-10 after a few long drives by Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. The 49ers responded however, with a 4 minute drive to end the half, concluding with risky QB sneak touchdown by quarterback Brock Purdy with 1 second remaining in the quarter. The 49ers secondary looked weak in the first half, giving up just under 200 passing yards to Rams receivers Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell. They were able to adjust very well after halftime, only giving up 2 field goals the rest of the game. Cornerbacks Isaiah Oliver and Deommodore Lenoir each intercepted Matthew Stafford, which turned into crucial plays for the 49ers down the stretch. The Defense continues to prove itself as being one of the top in the league alongside the Dallas Cowboys. The defensive line pressured Matthew Stafford a lot in the second half, and made him look uneasy and forced him to make quick throws. New defensive coordinator Steve Wilks is certainly asserting himself as a great coach, and is keeping up the dominance of this talented defense.

The offense was amazing again today, scoring 30 points for the second straight week. Quarterback Brock Purdy was great today, but had some problems with overthrowing receivers on deep passes. He missed receivers Deebo Samuel, Juan Jennings, and Brandon Aiyuk on 3 potential touchdowns throws in the second quarter. He made up for it in the 3rd quarter by leading the team down the field on two scoring drives to put the team in front. His overall stats for the day were 17 completions on 25 attempts, for a total of 206 yards, and

an excellent passer rating of 93.1 The offense continues to rely on the running ability of Christian McCaffery, who had 20 carries for 116 yards, and one touchdown today. The 49ers will most likely be at the top of the power rankings after the week is over, as they continue to show the ability to win games against any team. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel redeemed himself after a poor performance last week. He had 63 receiving yards, and 38 rushing yards today, hopefully he continues to build on todays performance and continue this hot streak. The 49ers will play the New York Giants on Thursday at 515 p.m. They will come into the game as 9.5 point favorites after the Giants came away with a close comeback win against the Cardinals today. The 49ers defense will again have to prove themselves against a Brian Daboll lead offense, but I'm sure they are up to the challenge. Go Niners!
